My name is Simona, and I’ve always been the kind of professional who likes the “messy” part of things.

That moment when a product is still half idea, half conversation. When operations are trying to move faster, business is asking for clarity, technology is adding complexity and different people are using different words to describe the same problem.

That’s usually where I step in, start seeing a direction, and begin turning scattered pieces into something people can actually move around.

Over the years I’ve worked on digital products, platforms and services across insurance, industrial and enterprise environments, often within complex ecosystems where processes, people, technology and business goals all needed to find a real balance.
A big part of my work has often been giving structure to things that are still undefined, creating alignment across different teams, and turning operational complexity into something clearer, more sustainable and concretely usable over time.

At Unipol Group I followed UniSalute Up from its early definition through product growth. The app exceeded 1 million downloads and contributed to reducing call center volume by around 30%, but the most interesting part for me was understanding how even small decisions inside a digital service can change the way people, services and organizations start working together at scale.

More recently I’ve been working on IoT platforms and digital ecosystems, coordinating teams across business, technology and design while supporting discovery activities, rollout initiatives and operational transformation processes.

An important part of my work consists in creating clarity before fragmentation starts slowing down processes, communication and decision-making.

What struck me about this role is that it seems to recognize something I’ve seen many times in practice: transformation does not really happen when you introduce a new tool, but when systems, services and people finally start evolving in the same direction.
